Mitchelton-SCOTT正式公布2018环法八人名单。亚当·耶茨将在七名队友的帮助下冲击总成绩；冲刺手尤安意外落选。

亚当·耶茨（英国），26岁
西蒙在环意的表现令人震惊；而亚当并不比双胞胎兄弟逊色，在本赛季两次用漂亮的单飞赢得胜利。他上一次参加环法是两年前，当时的成绩是总成绩第四兼最佳年轻车手。所以对亚当来说，只有上领奖台才叫进步。
众所周知，大环赛是旷日持久的消耗战，西蒙在环意的失败很好说明了这一点。但“失败乃成功之母”，再考虑到两人双胞胎的关系，亚当很容易继承西蒙刷出来的宝贵的经验值。

涅维（西班牙），34岁
涅维将连续在两场大环赛为两兄弟服务。对于34岁的巴斯克爬坡手来说，这个任务不轻松，但他也是车队目前唯一能堪重用的爬坡副将了。

豪森（澳大利亚），26岁
豪森是个不错的爬坡手，虽然他还比不上队友杰克·海格。和亚当一样年轻的豪森，已经完成过四次大环赛，经验不是问题。

英庇（南非），34岁
英庇可谓老当益壮，多次在上坡冲刺展示惊人的力量，完全可以和巴尔维德、阿拉菲利普、萨甘这些大牌一较高下。

德布里奇（澳大利亚），27岁
德布里奇是一个低调有内涵的车手，在平路上就像一辆摩托车。他在近年的个人表现比较平淡，但不影响他为团队贡献。

赫本（澳大利亚），27岁
第一次参加环法的赫本并不是什么新兵蛋子。作为场地团体追逐世界冠军，赫本是一个大功率的火车头。

杰克·鲍尔（新西兰），33岁
来自新西兰的大个子，也是一个TT好手。

海曼（澳大利亚），40岁
2016年巴黎-鲁贝一战之后，老将回归平凡的日常。值得一提的是，海曼是本届环法第二年长的参赛选手。
Mitchelton-SCOTT排出了一套简单粗暴的阵容：一个GC主将+两个爬坡副将+五个平路火车头。平路副将的比例看似不科学，其实这原本也是为了尤安而准备的。这个冲刺新星早就计划要在今年完成环法首秀，却在开赛前夕意外落选。


尤安：是去是留？
尤安的落选对外界和他本人来说都是很大的意外，主要原因有两个：一，大环赛名额缩减，一支车队兼顾总成绩和冲刺两条战线的可能性大幅降低；二，尤安进入合同年，但未表现出续约的意愿。
从竞技方面出发，尤安今年的表现并未达到期望，赛季至今仅取得两场冲刺胜利（锤子系列赛林堡站除外），而且还是个环法菜鸟，押宝尤安显然风险太大。从长远角度考虑，一个马上要走人的车手并不值得车队投资。尤安没有接受老东家提供的新合约，而是和别的车队走得很近——坊间风传比利时乐透力邀尤安接班格莱佩尔。尤安在社交网络公开表示了对落选环法的失望，似乎说明了他真的不打算留在Mitchelton-SCOTT。
